Luigi Mangione has been charged with murder in New York in the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Mangione was arrested on gun charges in Altoona, Pennsylvania on Monday, Dec. 9, after he was recognized as a person of interest by someone at a McDonald’s. Altoona Police say Mangione presented a fake ID and was carrying a 3D-printed pistol and silencer in his backpack.
In addition to a murder charge in New York, Mangione is facing charges for fraud and possessing an unlicensed firearm in Pennsylvania.
