A person is dead after being attacked by a group of stray dogs in West Baltimore Friday evening, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers responded to the 2000 block of North Pulaski Street for a dog bite at about 9 p.m. When they arrived, they learned that two stray dogs had attacked a 50-year-old woman, who died as a result of her injuries.
Two officers discharged their weapons, striking one of the dogs. Both dogs were recovered by officers and Animal Control.
Police said they are still investigating the incident.
