Hi, my name is Katie and I just graduated with a master’s degree, but am interested in pursuing additional education in marketing. I have a full-time job and I have a passion for sailing, snowboarding, and finding good deals online. I love the outdoors and traveling, which takes up a lot of my free time.

When I was in school recently, I was juggling a full-time job, a puppy, and moving to a new city and making friends. My twin thinks I already have a very full plate with my socialization, traveling, work, and workout routines. I loved going back to school to expand my network and gain new skills! That is why I am toying with the idea of additional education.

Do you think now be a good time to go back to school?

Hi Katie,

The Baltimore Banner thanks its sponsors. Become one.

You were born on the spring equinox. This degree in the zodiac is significant in anyone’s astrological chart and any planet there is a focal point. In your case, the sun is there giving you a powerful life force and endless potential!

With your natal 9th house Aries sun conjunct Aries Mercury, it’s no surprise that you enjoy higher education, travel and lots of activity. Your natal chart has Jupiter in the 2nd house in Virgo, showing that you value outdoor adventures, travel, higher education, and the work it takes to achieve that, so you find school satisfying. Astrologically, you’ve recently completed your first Saturn return. The first Saturn return is a coming-of-age time when you gain a full understanding of the responsibilities and rewards of being an adult. So, congratulations on making that major transition!

This current time is busy for you, with transiting Jupiter bouncing around in a conjunction with your sun for months now. This urge for “more” will continue until spring 2023. In many ways, this period signifies the end of one phase of your life and the beginning of another. Right now, you might be too busy to fully appreciate the significance of the changes, but later you are likely to reflect on this turning point.

Change is a key factor in your life. There will be plenty of highs and lows and you will get support through this dynamic time from women in your life. In general, your relationships with women are fortuitous now, so cherish the support of women friends, colleagues and relatives. This is still a great time for travel and networking. Your Libra moon craves social harmony. You are a charismatic person and naturally attract all sorts of interesting and helpful people.

Rather than focusing on more education right now, it’s a good time to make decisions regarding your love life and focus on what you want in a partnership. Saturn is headed toward a conjunction with your 7th house Mars in Aquarius, and so you might have a bit of frustration in this area, but it’s important for you to define your needs. Own up to your responsibilities and require the same from the people closest to you.

From spring 2023 until mid-summer 2024, change is still a major factor, but the changes are geared toward settling down a bit, and establishing a solid base. It is a favorable time to break old bad habits and incorporate new healthier ones, integrating daily habits into your life that are comforting and add stability. It’s important that you look for a sense of security in your own life, even if you have a partner. You may do something like move or renovate your home, or begin a big new project, all in an effort to feel more established, comfortable and secure.

After October 2025 is the best time to go back to school. Saturn will be moving into your 9th house, encouraging you to make your expertise official and become a real authority in your field. Saturn also gives you discipline and willingness to wait for delayed rewards that will help you complete your postgraduate education. You will have had time to adjust your life to the changes that are happening right now and through next couple of years, and you’ll be ready to spread your wings a little. Make the most of the opportunities that come your way and enjoy the rewards for all of your hard work.

Best,

Cheryl
