When Bailey Anne Kennedy was named Miss Maryland USA this year, she broke plenty of barriers: first trans woman to win the title, first Asian American to win the title and first military officer’s wife to win the title.
This weekend, Kennedy had a chance to become the first trans woman to be crowned Miss USA — but this wasn’t her year. She didn’t make it to the top 20 after competing in the pageant’s preliminary round Saturday night.
If you still want to watch contestants from other states compete for the crown — Miss District of Columbia and Miss Virginia were still in the running Sunday — here’s how to tune in.
How to watch Miss USA
The Miss USA pageant will air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night. It’s scheduled from 8-10 p.m. Eastern.
The CW Network has an exclusive broadcast deal with the pageant. You can find your local CW station on the network’s website. The CW is also available on Hulu and YouTube TV.
The competition’s preliminary round is free to watch on the Miss USA YouTube channel.
