“Glow On” received near universal praise and landed on lists of the best albums of 2021 from places including Pitchfork, BrooklynVegan and Rolling Stone.

Critics noted how the record incorporated various other music styles and pushed the hardcore genre. They’ve compared vocalist Brendan Yates to ’90s alternative rock icons Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine and Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction.
