The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in Baltimore and central Maryland for early Thursday morning until 1 p.m.
Between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. Thursday, Baltimore and the surrounding counties will see freezing rain until the precipitation transitions to rain.
The NWS also issued an ice storm warning to include Washington and Frederick counties until 10 p.m. Thursday. Significant icing is likely with ice accumulation up to a quarter of an inch.
