I enjoyed De’Andre Young’s article, “Salt, pepper, ketchup, hot sauce: 4 of the best chicken boxes in Baltimore.” I would recommend Bangin’ Fish and Chicken be added to the list to round it out to the top 5 chicken box joints in Baltimore.
For us that live on the West Side, Bangin’ Fish and Chicken, though technically across the county line in Randallstown, is the “go-to” place. On nights when the 2nd District council team has a meeting along the Liberty Road corridor, you can bet that we are stopping by Bangin’ Fish and Chicken before we go home. It makes for a happy family when we arrive late after work. Funny thing is, we usually see residents that were just in the community meeting with us waiting in line at Bangin’, too. Bangin’ Chicken does for chicken what Grey Poupon does for mustard.
