After a week focused on the state’s financial woes and a week focused on the new White House administration, lawmakers will turn up the pace this week. Lawmakers have until next week to hit filing deadline for bills in their respective houses. If they do, those bills are usually guaranteed a committee hearing — though many don’t make it any further.
