The Ravens (11-5) will face the Cleveland Browns (3-13) at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Baltimore. Here are game predictions from The Baltimore Banner’s sports staff.

The Ravens still must stay focused

Kyle Goon, columnist: It might actually be a blessing that the AFC North title rides on this game, because it forces the Ravens to take the laughingstock of the division seriously. There is no threat offensively (watching the Browns eke out just three points to the Dolphins last weekend was truly a drag), and many of the defenses’ best pieces are shipped off or hurt. A number of these players might be auditioning to get out of Cleveland next season. Hopefully the Ravens need only a half or so of Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Kyle Hamilton and other key players Baltimore wants to wrap up for the playoffs. But they need to do what they must to win, even if that takes a full 60 minutes. It’s all within reach, and it’s good, in a sense, that the Ravens have to stay sharp in a week that might otherwise lead to a letdown.

QBWho?

Giana Han, reporter: Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson or Bailey Zappe, it doesn’t matter who the Browns start at quarterback, the Ravens won’t let this game get away from them. They are well aware of what is riding on it — securing the AFC North title — and they still have a bitter taste left in their mouths from the first meeting. The biggest question will be the score. If the Ravens get ahead enough, will they bench their starters, allowing the Browns to score in garbage time?

Expect a blowout

Jonas Shaffer, reporter: The Ravens have an AFC North title to play for. The Browns have a race to the bottom to win. The Ravens have nine Pro Bowl selections. The Browns have three, only two of whom will be active Saturday. The Ravens are starting one of the league’s best quarterbacks. The Browns are starting Bailey Zappe, one of the NFL’s worst in recent memory. Barring an executive order or an act of divine intervention, the Ravens will win this game, and win it by a lot. The margin depends on just when they decide to ease up and turn their focus to the playoffs.

A grand finale

Paul Mancano, “Banner Ravens Podcast” co-host: How did the Browns best the Ravens 29-24 a mere 10 weeks ago? For starters, the Ravens’ defense in that game included Trenton Simpson at inside linebacker and Eddie Jackson at safety. The former has since been benched and the latter has been released. Personnel aside, the Baltimore defense taking the field Saturday more closely resembles the one we watched all of last season than it does the one that Jameis Winston shredded in Week 8. Zach Orr has restored the organization’s faith in him, and his group should have no trouble with Bailey Zappe.

Eyes on the prize

Brandon Weigel, editor: The first Browns game of the season, a 29-24 Ravens loss in Week 8, provided some of the worst lowlights in the defense’s early season funk. Specifically, multiple dropped interceptions that should have flipped the game to the Ravens’ win column. A lot has changed since then, with Zach Orr’s unit making huge strides thanks to the safety duo of Kyle Hamilton and Ar’Darius Washington and a streamlined system for communicating the play calls.

The defense’s improvement is just one reason this Browns game will be different. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the offense are still trucking and have a chance to set some personal and team records. And the woeful Browns are limping to the finish line of the NFL season. While this game is likely to be a laugher, Ravens coach John Harbaugh has his players focused on the task at hand: locking up the AFC North. They won’t disappoint.
