Our goal is to listen with intention and craft ways to be of service through various initiatives and events, as well as to present uplifting narratives that reflect those we serve in an authentic and inclusive way. We look for ways to amplify community voices so that our neighbors are seen and heard by reaching out to public schools, universities, neighborhood associations, businesses, sporting teams, nonprofit organizations, and local service agencies. Baltimore City’s neighborhoods have more to them than meets the eye. We’re sharing the untold stories of communities throughout the City on our community affairs program, CommuniTEA.

Promote the Vote

Promote the Vote Maryland is The Baltimore Banner’s civic engagement initiative in response to our community wanting more news about candidates so they can make informed choices. We have hosted several free events reaching hundreds of residents to bring issues and hot-button topics to the forefront for candid discussions.
