Since 1924, Central Scholarship has quietly been shaping the future of countless students and communities. Driven by our mission of supporting Maryland residents pursuing higher education or career certification, Central Scholarship has catalyzed numerous alums’ success stories.

In celebrating Central Scholarship’s Centennial, we seek your help reconnecting with Central Scholarship alums. Did you or someone you know receive a scholarship or an interest-free loan from Central Scholarship? We want to hear your stories, learn about your achievements, and celebrate the milestones you’ve reached.

Our alums span diverse fields, from medicine to technology and from the arts to construction, reflecting the transformative power of education at every level. As part of our year-long celebration and tribute to our Career Training alums, together with MedStar Harbor Hospital and Vince Connelly & Assoc, Fundraising, LLC, we are proud to present a FREE Power Panel Breakfast on March 28. This event will provide insights into the latest trends, strategies, and innovations shaping the landscape of workforce development and career training. Moderated by Central Scholarship President Tierra A. Dorsey, the Power Panel Breakfast will feature insightful discussions from distinguished panelists, including Marco Ávila, Chairman & President of Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Maria Darby, Chief Operating Officer for Dwyer Workforce Development, Kris Hoellen, Executive Director for the Baltimore Railroad Museum, and Dr. Curtis Turner, Head of School for St. Frances Academy. Register here for the Free Power Panel Breakfast.

Like our esteemed panelists, we invite Central Scholarship alums to share their experiences, accomplishments, and the impact that Central Scholarship has had on their lives. Your stories will inspire future generations and serve as a testament to the enduring legacy of Central Scholarship.
